How ABA works with us
What is ABA?
Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based approach that looks at how children learn and what helps new skills stick. Modern ABA is play-based, individualised and respectful — it builds on your child's interests and strengths.
Our principles
- Child-led & play-based
- Assent-based — if your child says no, we listen and adjust
- Family-chosen goals
- Combined with Positive Behaviour Support
- Data-informed decisions
- Collaboration with speech pathologists, OTs, kinder and school

How we measure progress
We record simple data during sessions and share easy-to-read updates, so decisions are based on what's actually working for your child.
What ABA with us is NOT
- Not about making your child “look typical”
- Not rigid drilling at a table for hours
- Not about compliance for its own sake
- Never punishment-based
